Annie Ruth Smith

Annie Ruth Smith, 83, of Baxter, KY entered eternal life Saturday, February 6th, 2010 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born October 20th, 1926 in Cumberland Gap, TN.

Annie is preceded in death by her husband Velty Smith. Her parents Jim and Alice Cadle. A daughter Betty Osborne. One brother Jimmy Cadle. One sister Ruby Keller. A stepson Paul Junior Smith. Grandsons Paul Vernon Smith and Jimmy Smith.

Surviving Annie is her daughter Lillie Mae Saylor and husband Johnny of Coldiron, KY. Two sons Samuel David Smith of Cranks, KY and Stan Smith and wife Betty of Baxter, KY. A daughter-in-law Marie Smith of Sydney, OH. Grandchildren; Tammy Brock and husband Tim of London, KY. Melanie Saylor of Maynardville, TN. Jimmy Smith of Cranks, KY. Kathy Smith and Tom Philpot of Cranks, KY. David Allen Napier and wife Allison of Albuquerque, New Mexico. Gina Rowe and husband Mike of Lafayette, IN. Kelly Smith of Baxter, KY. Lori Miller and husband Johnny of Williamsburg, KY. Johnny Smith of Sydney, OH. Billy Ray Smith, Francie Yantis of Piqua, OH. David Smith of Lafollette, TN. Brothers Charles Cadle and wife Mary of Tazewell, TN. Paul Cadle of Harrogate, TN. A sister Mary Lee. Many great grandchildren and a host of other family members and friends also survive.

Funeral Services will take place Wednesday, February 10th, 2010 at 1:00 PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home with the Rev. Robert Keith officiating. Graveside services and burial will follow at Resthaven Cemetery in Keith, KY. Family Members will serve as pallbearers.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 9th, 2010 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM in the chapel of Mount Pleasant Funeral Home.
