Sarah Davis

Sarah Leona Davis, 77, went home to be with the Lord Friday, July 23, 2010 at her home. Leona was born in Tinsley, Kentucky on September 27, 1932, but had lived here most of her life. She was a loving sister and believed in the Baptist faith.

Leona was preceded in death by her parents, Neal and Bertha Mailcoat Davis; and her brother, William H. Davis.

Survivors include her sister, Ada L. Davis, Closplint; one sister-in-law, Betty Davis; two nieces Deborah Jenkins and Laketa Curry; one nephew, William D. Davis; all of Toledo, OH; a very special friend, Martha Owens, Closplint; and her special pet cat "Booty."

Visitation will be 6 to 9 P.M. Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in the chapel of Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, July 27, 2010 in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home with the Reverend John Luttrell officiating.

Burial will follow in the Evarts Memorial Gardens.

Friends and family will serve as pallbearers.

Evarts Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
