Woodrow Pace

Woodrow Pace, 91 of Teetersville passed away Tuesday July 27, 2010 unexpectantly at the Baptist Regional Medical Center in Corbin.
Woodrow was born August 4, 1918 in Harlan, KY to the late Henry Gilbert and Judy Daniels Pace. He had lived in Michigan for several years before returning to Harlan after the passing of his beloved wife 3 years ago, he was retired from TRW Automotive in Michigan. He believed in the Holiness faith.
Besides his parents he is preceded in death by his wife, Ruby Creech Pace; several brothers and one sister.
He leaves behind a son, Kenneth Ray Pace; his daughter, Shirley Pace; a very special grandson, Brian Pace; grandchildren, Brenda, Doug and James Pace all of Michigan; 6 great grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter; 1 special great niece and caregiver, Lisa Ealy Boggs and husband Tony of Teetersville, special great-great niece, Jelisa "Little Red" Boggs of Teetersville; 2 dear sisters, Rachel Pace Schweickart and husband Jim of Louisville, KY and Emma Pace Hensley of Gulston; He leaves several nieces, nephews other relatives to mourn his passing.
Visitation will be Friday evening July 30, 2010 from 5 until 7 at Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home.
Funeral services will follow at 7:00 pm in the Chapel of Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home with Bro. Matt Boggs presiding.
Graveside services will be at 10:00 am Saturday at the Pace Cemetery at Gulston. Nephews will serve as Pallbearers
Anderson-Laws & Jones Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
