Jessie Middleton

Jessie Irene Middleton, 88, Jones Creek, passed away Friday, July 30, 2010 at the Harlan Appalachian Regional Hospital. She was born July 23, 1922 in Harlan County and had lived here all of her life. Jessie was a homemaker and believed in the Baptist faith.

Jessie was preceded in death by her parents, Alice Stewart Middleton and Burl Middleton; two brothers, Aulden Middleton and Harold Middleton.

Jessie is survived by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and relatives.

Visitation will be held Sunday, August 1, 2010 from 5 to 8 PM in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be conducted Monday, August 2, 2010 at 2 PM in the Chapel of the Evarts Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Middleton Cemetery of Jones Creek.

Family and friends will serve as pallbearers.

Evarts Funeral Home has been entrusted with the arrangements.
